Attention: you get to see the inner workings of my heart. This is is a sentimental moment for me. ;)

Here is my opnion of google+
Mmmmm... Google+ is like a Twitter that lets you put people in categories so you can:
#1. Actually find new information and stepp outside your own circles
#2. Mute people (they actually have a mute button
* happy laughter *) you don't want to hear from all the time.... which kind of like the reverse of the above item ironically.
This second benefit may initially seem rude but it actually works out really, really good for me because I've been told I'm too intense sometimes! *happy laughter* So now people can mute me! ;)
Feel free to substitute the word "intense" with compliments or insults! *happy laughter*
Do you know what else is intense? The highly recommended
''Letter From Birmingham Jail', written by Martin Luther King (from in jail of course) and found here in its entirety:
http://dsame.com/mlkletter.pdf
For those who don't have time to read it, you can read some nice background about it here on wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letter_from_Birmingham_Jail
And yes, I meant to place this on my 'about' page.
* happy laughter *
Love intensity is the best part about me!
Wooo hoooo! I love you all! ;)

"Cautious, careful people, always casting about to preserve their reputation and social standing, never can bring about a reform. Those who are really in earnest must be willing to be anything or nothing in the world's estimation, and publicly and privately, in season and out, avow their sympathy with despised and persecuted ideas and their advocates, and bear the consequences."
-Susan B. Anthony
Years ago I recognized my kinship with all living things, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on the earth. I said then and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am in it; while there is a criminal element, I am of it; while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.

The Good News
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"The good news is... Thousands of activists across the world have been hard at work preparing footholds and securing the ropes to make it easier for the rest of us. There isn't only one path up. There are hundreds of ways of doing it. There are hundreds of battles being fought around the world that need your skills, your minds, your resources. No battle is irrelevant. No victory is too small."
"The bad news is that colorful demonstrations, weekend marches and annual trips to the World Social Forum are not enough. There have to be targeted acts of real civil disobedience with real consequences. Maybe we can't flip a switch and conjure up a revolution. But there are several things we could do. For example, you could make a list of those corporations who have profited from the invasion of Iraq and have offices here in Australia. You could name them, boycott them, occupy their offices and force them out of business. If it can happen in Bolivia, it can happen in India. It can happen in Australia. Why not?"
"That's only a small suggestion. But remember that if the struggle were to resort to violence, it will lose vision, beauty and imagination. Most dangerous of all, it will marginalize and eventually victimize women. And a political struggle that does not have women at the heart of it, above it, below it and within it is no struggle at all."
"The point is that the battle must be joined. As the wonderful American historian Howard Zinn put it: You Can't Be Neutral on a Moving Train."
The above four paragraphs are from Arundhati Roy in an excerpt from her 2004 Sydney Peace Prize lecture titled "Peace and the new corporate liberation theology."
Delivered by Arundhati Roy, November 3, 2004
at the Seymour Theatre Centre, University of Sydney.
Why brag? I feel so grateful for everything. I feel like I should say "thank you" nonstop to everyone and everything for supporting me in anything I have ever miraculously managed to achieve. Love for all. Really. "What I'm really craving right now is Stinky Tofu." [That quote is a reference to the post found here http://bit.ly/qLOawW and the resulting comments].
